#7 English Song

Decode by Paramore

lyrics
How can I decide what's right
When you're clouding up my mind?
I can't win your losing fight
All the time

Not gonna ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides
But you won't take away my pride
No, not this time
Not this time

How did we get here?
When I used to know you so well
How did we get here?
Well, I think I know how

The truth is hiding in your eyes
And it's hanging on your tongue
Just boiling in my blood
But you think that I can't see
What kind of man that you are
If you're a man at all
Well, I will figure this one out
On my own
(I'm screaming, "I love you so")
On my own
(My thoughts you can't decode)

How did we get here?
When I used to know you so well, yeah
How did we get here?
Well, I think I know how

Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools
Of ourselves
Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools
Of ourselves

How did we get here?
When I used to know you so well, yeah, yeah
Well, how did we get here?
When I used to know you so well.
I think I know
I think I know

There is something I see in you
It might kill me
But I want it to be true

Comment
I heard this song from TWILIGHT which is talking about a vampire and a senior high school female. Although some people said that this kind of story of love is ridiculous, but in my opinion I think the process they get each other is difficult also nowadays there are fewer and fewer love like this. And this story gave me a wonderful image about true and forever love that every girls want to get. At the title is talking about the mind that the vampire can read all the people minds except the girl Bella. It's started interesting the vampire Edward and he wanted to know about Bella. This song is written for the first time Edward saw Bella at school and how he felt, it's very strong emotion !

#6 Steve Jobs' Talk

Usually, I thought Jobs was always talking about I PHONE or other APPLE product, but in this case Jobs really impressed me a lot. In my opinion, those who drop out from school usually don't have a great occasion or earning. But there are many successful examples nowadays, like FACEBOOK founder - Mark Zuckerburg, WINDOWS founder - Bill Gates. And Jobs's childhood was really pathetic than I thought. He not only made such an important decision to drop out, but continue dropped in the courses that he was interested in. I think it is what caused his enterprise so good. Fortunately, he had a wonderful family although he was kicked out from APPLE, it didn't disappoint he but courage he to produce as success as APPLE product - PIXAR, the other one of the most top company in the world. Jobs really influence we a lot in our daily life.  I can't image what the APPLE and PIXAR would become after Jobs dead in the next decade. But Jobs' s story taught me that you don't have to do thing that can't help you but to go ahead for your dream.

#5 How do you like ESL Randall's Cyber Listening Lab as a language learning resource?

I used to watch English drama to improve my ability of LISTENING. Because I do not know which website or what English magazine is useful for me, and also I'm too lazy to find out the way. But in RANDALL, I can easily know which level I can handle, and do more practices to upgrade to the highest level that I want to achieve. So, I REALLY like this website, not only it's free, but also it's all useful for elementary or advanced.
